My first from Newgrounds... Wow.

Haha, I remember listening to this song when it first came out. It was my first on here, actually, while I was on an old account. I never really wrote a review, so uh, here it is.

Reminds me of Metallica, which I hadn't listened to when I when I first came on here. Still, I'll give a ten for nostalgia's sake.

A happy, ocean feel to it.

To me, it felt like it had a nice, happy feel to it, and it gave the impression of someone exploring the wide open ocean, occasionally going in to a couple caves to explore.

It does feel a bit too, I don't know, busy for an ambient track, but hey, that's just your style. I'm the kind of weirdo who listens to drone, so I can't really say that my taste is valid, haha.

Also, some of the transitions from section to section felt a little bit abrupt, but overall, it was worth listening to.

KKSlider60 responds:

I stopped listening to drone some months ago, once I realized that just one wall of sound could be used as an instrument instead of a lonely, boring, tempo-less track. Yes, it has sort of a "happy" feel to it, something quite unusual in my music. xD
I don't really bother genre names, it's just a very atmospheric track for me.
Thank you for your time and review,
KKS

Love it.

Great stuff man, as per usual. I guess you really decided to go the way of Godspeed by making it long? :p

Also, I apologize for the late review. I haven't been on Newgrounds in ages.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

No need for an apologies! :D

I have never actually listened to Godspeed, but I assume they make long tracks?

Not quite as enjoyable as Crowds, but still good.

I definitely enjoyed this one, but for some reason, I didn't like it as much. It seems like more of a nice song to relax to, and, although I hate to admit it, I wasn't really relaxing and not doing anything else while listening to it, haha. That might be why I didn't like it quite as much.

It was still rather good, and I can't wait to hear the rest.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

The main fault in this song is that it doesnt have as much harmony as crowds does.

Although, I still very much enjoy this one personally. My next one will be very similiar to this one, although it will have much more harmony in it when combining the pads and SFXs.

A great cover.

This is a great cover of the title theme, and it has a nice, clean sound to all the parts (especially the electric guitar), which a lot of songs on here lack.

I can't wait to hear more, and I apologize for not reviewing earlier; I saw it minutes after it was uploaded, but I completely forgot to review it.

Jonah-B responds:

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it! The clean recording of the guitar is all thanks to my trusty Pod X3. :)

Great song, has a nice GY!BE feel to it.

Nice song. It has a nice Godspeed You! Black Emperor feel to it, and if you haven't listened to them before, that's a compliment. :p

I strongly suggest that you check out their "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven" album.

Oh, and I would post about the imagery that popped in my head while I closed my eyes and listened to this song, but sadly, I'm supposed to be working on a school project, and I don't have time to close my eyes.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Hahaa, I love that band! They make some awesome stuff. Most of their stuff has lyrics in them, and actually my next song will! :)
